The Better Business Act and B Lab UK have produced a short guide showcasing some amazing examples of businesses taking innovative approaches to support workers and communities.
What steps have businesses taken to embed purpose and multi-stakeholder accountability in their businesses? How might proposed changes to legislation lead to greater stakeholder accountability? What barriers might arise?
Proposed changes might mean companies are legally obligated to operate in a manner that benefits their stakeholders – including workers, customers, communities and the environment – while seeking to deliver profits for shareholders.
